I remember feeling the same way going into recruitment! For me, I was always on the cusp of being popular in high school, but never truly felt like I fit in with the "cool" kids, even though they accepted me. I just felt more comfortable around my other friends, I was pretty much faced with the same dilemma in recruitment. My pref round I had one "cool" sorority and another "bottom" sorority. And ya know what? I LOVED that lower tier sororities pref round and hated the better sororities. I took the leap and joined the lower tier, and it probably made my college experience as great as it has been. I probably would have disaffiliated from that other chapter by now. Anyway, done preaching. Here is my opinion, I'm not going to include stuff about frats they mix with because it's all basically the same and not the point of joining a sisterhood, you'll see your sisters way more than frat boys.
