this isn't the south. We don't make sure you were from the same town or sports team as someone in our chapter. Yeah it's cool when girls are like "omg you're from Massapequa? I'M from Massapequa!" but if everyone in my chapter was only there because they did girl scouts with someone else in the chapter or played travel soccer with them, I'd probably kill myself. The great thing about joining a sorority (at least my chapter...) is that everyone is from all over and is so different. So no, you hvae nothing to worry about. Go into rush and with an open mind and you'll find where you belong.
