No sorority on campus has dues that high. Each chapter is different, but generally your first few semesters (2-3) will be more expensive and the cost will go down. Also consider what the dues cover, for every chapter it's different. For some, dues cover everything and for others you pay separately for your pin, formal (for you + your date), pr items, etc. It pretty much all evens out in the end. My advice? Don't choose a chapter based on cost, most have payment plans or scholarships to help girls that wouldn't be able to afford membership otherwise.
