Myself and tons of other girls have gone through as sophomores. You still get the excitement of bid day, big/little week, your first mixer, etc. The only thing you have to be prepared for is keeping in mind that for SOME chapters, your chances of getting a bid are lowered. So as long as you are willing to accept a bid anywhere, I say go for it! Receiving a bid is an honor no matter what group extends it to you.
