There were a lot of off campus sophomores in my pledge class. One had a house and lived with girls in other sororities already and she had us over after airband practice one night for a bachelor watch party. I don’t even watch the bachelor and I don’t even think we did anything else but I remember it being a blast. I think good advice, sophomore new member or not, is to remember to put yourself out there even once you get a bid. A sorority isn’t magic you still have to put effort into meeting and forming friendships with your new sisters. I went through a little slump after initiation where I felt like the magic was gone and maybe I had made a mistake but as soon as I started involving myself in things and just talking with girls I may not have always talked to at events and stuff the friendships forming and stuff felt effortless again.
