Unfortunately yes that definitely will hurt your chances of getting in to most chapters. A lot have minimums of 3.0 or above, especially the more academically strong chapters. You want to be able to maximize your options in recruitment, so I think maybe waiting until next year and studying hard to raise your GPA would be a better option. Most chapters would drop you first round just based on your GPA, regardless of how much they like you Luckily it's really common here to rush as a sophomore so you shouldn't have any problem if that's what you choose to do
