Please see the other 3 posts with other new members having similar feelings. I cried on my bid day. Not because I was happy but because I didn't want to be there. I was convinced after the first week I was going to quit. But now I'm a senior and so glad I stayed. I know it seems like everyone is so excited and happy with where they ended up but there's plenty of girls who feel just like you do. And sure maybe some of them will end up dropping, but a lot of them will end up staying and finding their best friends and finding themselves in their chapter. I know sorority recruitment paint this idea like picture that everything is love at first sight and whatever but that's not how it is sometimes sometimes it takes a little bit of time a little bit of getting to know some more girls and even sometimes a little work. You might have to volunteer for things and really dive into your new chapter. Some people just Open their bid on that day and it's instantaneous love. Everyone is different. No one can really tell you what to do in the situation this is a decision you have to make. But I hope you stick it out because sororities don't just give bids out like candy. They're giving out with careful consideration and like it's been said before they gave you a bid for a reason.
