While I don't believe any chapter here has a 'once cut always cut' policy, the majority of girls who rerush will end up with the same chapters asking them back. Think honestly about things you can do to improve yourself, (joining clubs and taking on leadership positions, boosting your GPA, etc.) and think honestly how you presented yourself during rush. If you think that you have a lot of wiggle room in these areas, maybe give rush another try. BUT! Also give yourself a couple of weeks before dropping. You probably have months until initiation, and you haven't met many people at all yet. Go out with other new members and have fun, talk to older sisters about how your feeling over froyo (because there is probably one who has been in your same place), attend everything you can, and then in xyz weeks if you still are thinking that you aren't in the right place, then go ahead and rerush.
