My advice would be to stop thinking in terms of "tiers" and start thinking about who you had enjoyable conversations with and where you connected most. Unless knowing you're in a top tier is all you're looking for in a sisterhood (it really shouldn't be) your modeling, sports background, and being "not terribly awkward or weird" (rude comment about lower tiers btw) are rather trivial. Maybe you got dropped by so many houses cause you're a try-hard and current members are looking for true friends to grow their sisterhood. Who knows. Just go with the process.
