I wont say it means no bid because it's happened before that a girl with a low GPA gets a bid somewhere, but just be aware that your options will most likely be pretty limited. You have to give them a reason to look past your GPA and what would make you a valuable member for them to have and not just a drain on the chapters GPA. The reason for the GPA requirements isn't just because we want highly qualified women to join our chapters, it is also because we have rules set by our nationals and UD about what GPA members have to have. If you had a 3.0 GPA and joined a chapter, but then you ended up with a 2.5 at the end of the semester, you'd be put on academic probation which means no socials, a myriad of other things depending on which chapter you join (each is different).
