There's a general consensus that it may actually be better to be a gdi than be one of the bottom houses. That's partly due to the fact that girls here (at least the middle/upper mid soroities like tri-delt and pi phi) don't disregard gdis completely. Even some thetas and kappas mix with non-greeks Honestly it's for you to decide like the guy above said. Compare your non greek and greek friends. If they're similar decide do you want to pledge/pay dues or not If you're an UC thinking about fall rush, almost all fraternities take sophomores in the spring as well. it might be worth it to wait and meet new people.
