first off, DKE was never a real frat, to begin with. Back in 2018/19 (when the current seniors were freshmen) Pi had an off-campus PC. SAE was also kicked off-campus that year before the PC was 'initiated' (or whatever it's called). Vanderbilt wasn't really too stoked about the off-campus Pi boys, to say the least, and the SAE boys no longer had a house on campus so the two PCs teamed up to recolonize DKE their sophomore year. They then rushed some guys from the class of 2023 that year. Every guy from the class of 2022 that founded DKE ended up dropping that spring because of AGL and then DKE officially got kicked off campus during spring 2021 for a bunch of reasons, but Vanderbilt was really just out to get them because they didn't like the fact that SAE and Pi got a second chance at having a house on campus- if any other frat was found guilty of what they did they only would've been suspended (as seen with what happened with ZBT this fall). DKE is back to being off-campus just like how Pi originally was for the current seniors.
