I also want to add that just because a sorority has a certain reputation or stereotype doesn’t mean that all of the girls will uphold that! Ie. “Shy” or “studious” houses can have super outgoing party girls, and “loud/party” houses can have some quieter or more studious girls. It just won’t be the majority, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t make great friends in any house. I have very close friends in “top”, “middle”, and “bottom” houses and I can honestly say that as mentioned above, tiers etc really don’t matter as much as you think once you’re in a house. If you meet girls you like in a house, that’s amazing and it shouldn’t matter whether they are “top” or not :). And if you don’t feel like you mesh well with girls you talk to, that’s perfectly OK too. You are paying for this after all!
