Vandy is better ranked and harder to get into now than it was a long time ago. Vandy used to be in the Wake Forest/UNC/Tufts category of schools and now it's in the Northwestern/WashU/Duke/any t20 that isn't HYPS. People here are less attractive because finding attractive and smart people is rare. Also if you want to be accomplished you need to have some capability of sacrifice/prioritizing your school work which is why Vandy isn't as fun anymore.
