Continuous open bidding (cob) happens all year Usually at the start of the semester chapters have a few open spots bc they didn't meet quotas at rush or people have disaffiliated, so they'll take a few new members. usually no more than 10 spots are for each, and there's no guarantee there will be any at all. also rush is not exclusive to class year, juniors/seniors go through all the same stuff as sophomores
