Greek life is. Geared towards rich write kids. While there’s some diversity, it’s still far from inclusive. The financial barrier is extremely alienating for many students, plus social obligations all come with a price. Big little gifts. Event tees. It adds up. There are people who are fully reliant on the campus food pantry and ur trying to say it’s not a rich kid club? And. White??? Yes. Many organizations have. Women of color. Hooray for you. But is it anything beyond a superficial “we’re diverse” or are you actually using your position as a person with privilege to maybe help out women who are isolated and alienated on campus??? Just because someone is in your club doesn’t mean it’s welcoming, healthy, or doing anything to benefit people in communities that are struggling at bucknell. Greek life has a class and a race problem and you’re blind if you can’t see that.
