When I went through rush this year, what I saw was the majority of guys wanted to get bids at Phi Psi, Kappa Sig, TKE, and Chi Phi pretty much in that order (I think that is what the bid ranking was actually). This is probably because they are the most general frats with the largest appeal. SAE, SigEp, FIJI, and SigChi all have very narrow ranges of guys to pull (though you can argue that is what makes them "better"). My advice to any of next years freshman is go where you are comfortable/know upperclassmen, don't try to force yourself into a bad fit just due to reputation. Most likely if you are trying to force it, the frat knows and doesn't want you anyways.
