tri delt or pi phi

. Pi phi is improving the most, tri delt is declining, and zeta is pretty static. If I were to pick a house I would go pi phi. They have really cute and sociable girls and are becoming more present on this campus. Tri delt has more history but last semester was bad for them and they got a lot of awkward girls. Pi phi put on a really good rush and at tri delt it just kinda felt really awkward. In a few years I feel like pi phi will be competing with the top houses, I mean they just came in 2009 and have improved more than tri delt and zeta have in the last 20 years. Either way tri delt and pi phi are both respectable houses and very strong nationally.

This was last semester. They just now got their social functions back but still getting put on social probation is embarrassing

I highly doubt ANY nationals would put a chapter on social probation for like....3 weeks.

They weren't even on social probation. Nationals had nothing to do with it. And it was also the end of the semester so there wouldn't even be a point? Don't forget DG was also supposed to go to that same swap and pulled out at the last minute. DG wasn't on social probation either.
And the rumors about that girl getting punched are way out of line. They're just that RUMORS.

I know for a fact Tri Delt was never put on social probation. My roommate is a Tri Delt. They had about nine functions last semester. But in December they didn't have any. They just planned it because of finals. The rumors should stop. In regards to them being awkward, girls were crying when they got dropped from them. They also cross rushed with a lot of "top" houses. So I wouldn't count them out just yet. Especially with their new house in the fall.

I get where you were going with that....but you kinda miss the ballpark judging and then ended on a nice note. Pi Phi has done fantastic thing with this fall being year 7 on campus. Of course they have improved more! Lots of friends are Pi Phi's, they are starting to place in my events and their house is to die for. But gotta credit DDD too. A huge reason girls cut them is the house, which will be no issue this fall. They do well in events and in recent history won Limelight. And they raise more money than any other house on sorority row and only house that's close period is kappa sig. If our "middle tier" is that strong, I'll take either! I think in a few years Pi Phi might pass them, but as of now I give a slight edge to DDD.
