those who can't move on
by: CindyI've noticed on Twitter , Instagram, and snapchat that there some girls that cannot leave the idea of their friend groups in high school behind. It seems to be those girls that did poorly in rush that dwell on their memories of high school . Some of these girls are even older than freshmen, more like 19 & 20 year olds & post HS clique pictures. It's time to move on!! HS is in the past. No one cares that y'all were friends 2-3 years ago, The girls that did well at rush have made new friends. I suggest to these girls that can't move on from HS is to join a club in college, get involved. Sorority life was not for you but HS is over. You look foolish!

But some of us remained extremely close with our high school friends. Yes, I see my sisters every day and I'm very close and so happy to call them my friends. However, I'm still really close with my best friends from high school and nothing is going to change that. They've been my best friends for years and they will continue to be my best friends, even though we've been at separate colleges for a few years now. And I'm sure many others feel exactly the same way. There's nothing wrong with remaining friends with people. There is nothing wrong with friendships.

This is the stupidest thing I have ever read on this site. I have made so many great friends in college, but I have the type of friendships that never miss a beat with my high school friends. Despite going to different colleges, we remain close. Some of us are closer than others, but they are all still great friends.
And, no, I didn't do poorly in rush. I just know how to remain connected to people even though we live hours away. You must live a sad life so be stuck in your bubble of 5-6 girls.

When you have to post pictures from your high school days saying that you miss it then it's time to grow up. You will see that as time
Goes by, you don't have as much in common with your HS friends. It's cool to stay close; but know that it helps you to branch out. And stop posting pictures from the past. It's only been two years. You don't need to long for a past that was not that long ago. It looks like this person can't let go.
