Idk what who it was or if they were in a sorority but I lived in oak last year and it didn't catch on fire as a result of arson. Arson is setting something on fire on purpose. Someone left a candle lit in there room and caused a fire completely on accident. I don't even know why this is even worth talking about but don't say someone committed arson when they didn because that is slander .

dur da durr unintentional arsonist durrr LOL so funny. That's literally how dumb you sound. Arson is the criminal act of intentionally setting something on fire. You can't be an "unintentional" arsonist. And no whoever it was didn't get in trouble because it was an accident. Accidents happen. Move on this thread is legit killing my brain cells.

No dumb ass! I was trying to have humor for someone whose IQ seems equal to their shoe size. This girl did get into trouble. She wax not allowed to move back on campus. When you sign a contract for housing, it states that you are not to use candles in a dorm. Because she admitted it to the fire marshall , she was not allowed to move back when the dorms were repaired. This girl then went back through rush a second time and DG gave her a bid.

Wow cool. Didn't know accidentally keeping a candle on was a reason to not give a girl a bid? Like literally who cares. She's probably a really nice girl, no one is is perfect and she made a mindless mistake . Plenty of girls I know keep candles in their dorm. I don't know why ur so obsessed with this and why your getting so defensive

This happened last year and it was an accident and I'm pretty sure it was a GDI. I don't know why people have to make something out of nothing. Wow a girl accidentally left her candle on while she went to class, I'm sure thats going to make pnms think twice before joint XYZ sorority!

She may be super nice but the fire put a lot of people out if their rooms for several weeks. It just didn't sit well with a lot of girls. Maybe that's why the OP is wondering why DG gave a bid to someone with a mark against her such as being forgetful enough to leave a candle unattended. Sororities are always looking for a reason to cut someone.

yes, a house full of girls "illegally" keeping alcohol, candles, and mini fridges in their sorority house rooms are absolutely looking to cut someone for having a candle in their dorm. Grow up people.

Obviously you're an independent in a Greek website acting like you know what we use as criteria. Why do YOU care what we say about PNM? It was brought up during rush about the fire and that she caused it and it was a factor in her Greek future. So sit down and go to another website for you independents. Quit stirring up trouble here.
