sophomore rushing
by: PnmWhat are the chances of getting in a good sorority as a sophomore?

Just depends on ur connections and resume. One of my good friends dropped from rush her freshman year because she didn't see herself in any of the options she had left. She hung out with basically my whole friend group freshman year which was essentially made up of all my sorority sisters. She went through rush next year and got into our house with a breeze but that's only because she had 20-25 girls pulling for her. In another instance though a good friend of mine transferred here from a community college as a junior and got in my house with only knowing 1 or 2 girls. It really just depends ! My best advice is get lots of connections.

Yes, this can happen. However, it won't happen if you don't have over a 3.0. Top houses won't care how many people are pulling for you if you don't have the minimum GPA. Make sure that your grades are your priority.
