I agree with the above comment but what you may not realize is the only time you will have access to your phone during the week is in your dorm room. PNMs are not allowed to have their phones at all during and while waiting under the big tent for parties. So... there is no texting mom, friends or boyfriend to tell them which houses released you or which parties you will be attending. It's definitely different to not have your phone for extended periods of time but it's the best way. Once you get back to your room chances are you will be too exhausted to even care about social media! It's tough but We all survived it!! All of this will be explained to you at your meeting before the 1st day of recruitment.
