Actually you are the one that needs to grow up and learn to see the good in all groups. Why so much hate?

DG advisors at Ole Miss decide who the members will highly recruit. The advisors should be there to advise not dictate. You can defend it any way you want. Every other Greek in Mississippi knows how DG is run.

people realllly have a strange need to speculate about this chapter. It seems odd to me, just let them be! We don't know how it works, but it's working obviously. I hate all the negativity on here.

If you think advisors from all sororities are not dictating who their members recruit, you really don't know much about rush ha.

You're kidding yourself if you think certain advisors don't have MAJOR pull with ALL chapters. There are certain women who say jump and the chapters say "how high" every time. that's the way it is with everyone - not just certain groups.

major pull with all DG chapters yes. It IS NOT like that with my sorority. Our advisors actually advise, not dictate.

I'm with another school in the state and can tell you that DG's advisors are very involved but not dictatorial. Some of the other groups on my campus have overbearing alums though.

I actually think all of the Chi O hate is coming from another group, not DG.

To everyone out there: ALL SORORITIES' ADVISORS, ALUMN, ECT HAVE A HUGE SAY IN WHO THEIR SORORITIES RECRUIT. LET ME REPEAT: ALL SORORITIES' ADVISORS, ALUMNS, ETC HAVE HUGE SAY IN WHO THEIR SORORITIES RECRUIT. I do think that the hometown alum meetings should say yes or no to Pam's and then leave it up to the chapter itself, but it's just not done that way in the older more established sororities. If ANYONE thinks that just dg does that then you are well just being dumb. Chi o is a BIG alum helped group. Maybe that is why the more established groups chapters are so good?? Hmmmm
