to see how long it will take the DG advisor to remove the pictures on Facebook stating they are Derby Day champs again. The trophy is now at another house. The points were miscalculated on Saturday. Take down the picture from the MSU DG page ... show class and do the right thing!

They aren't the bad guys but the pics saying they are Derby Day champs should come down.

Their FB page is open for all to see for recruitment purposes. Only members can post but everyone can see Delta Lambda chapter's FB page. That is the very reason it should be removed. I consider it false recruitment info.

is thought of as a top group, but they have very strange intense involvement from their advisors. I find it freaky when an advisor spends the night at the house on the evening before Homecoming elections. That is too intense for me and is NOT normal. I have been told many times that DG advisors run DG chapters (straight from my DG cousin at Ole Miss who was an officer and became very frustrated with the lack of control chapter members had over decisions). Just not what I would want to be part of.

DGs are strong at all MS schools. If it is because of advisors then more power to them. Whatever works. Many advisors stay in houses during rush or initiation or other events. Advisors spending the night is not weird at all, and doesn't necessarily mean they're "controlling" anything. If it were as bad as you say then the DG chapters in the state of Mississippi would not be as large as they are.
