by: pnmHi im an OOS girl looking to rush. I have a 3.0 and 24 act. I am also a legacy to Phi Mu and a double legacy to DG. I have lots of activities and the rec letters. Do i have a fair chance at a sorority here?

Yes you have a good chance of joining a sorority at MSU. Phi Mu and DG will carefully consider you due to your legacy status but it does not guarantee you a bid to either group. Some sororities can be more selective during recruitment but all 8 MSU groups have wonderful members and a great sisterhood!. Establishing connections with current members is the best advice I can give you. PNMs with in house connections have the best chance of receiving a bid. Take advantage of the on campus events for prospective students and try to visit on Derby Day (I think it's April 11) or Super Bulldog Weekend when each group hosts a Panhellenic sponsored open house (April 18).
