The two groups that I went to on Pref night did NOT use scripture during the Pref ceremony but I have heard that others do. I understand your feelings on the issue. I guess the only way for you to make sure that you don't end up disappointed on Pref night is to straight up ask the groups before hand. Good luck! Hope you have a great recruitment!

The link said he put together a team 4 years ago.... 2007 to look into eyewear. Not after visiting DG here. They aren't paired together. They helped get him here and that is great, but TOMS is NOT DG's philantrophy. Don't think they are. They are Service for Sight.

timing of everything DG! Very interesting that it was all done on pmn move-in day. Hmm, TOMS was there giving FREE stuff? Why did all of the tweets say that DG had made the biggest one time purchase ever? Again ladies ... the event had obviously had ti be planned ... and for move in day. Typical DG class. Character is what you are when no one is looking, and DGs obviously have it. They are doing good for others around our state, nation, and world. And, to be made fun of by ANYONE - especially fellow Greeks - is just plain rude.

As I understand it, DG at MSU paid for NOTHING. IF DG made some kind of purchase, then it was on the national level and not by the chapter at MSU.

Why can't people see the big picture here? Good things are happening at MSU and because of this new partnership, great things will continue to happen for the less fortunate in our world. Quit being petty!

My question is ... If DG is now in "partnership" with TOMS, why is there nothing on the national DG website, the national Facebook page , or their national twitter account? Also nothing on TOMS Website, Facebook, or twitter either. Nothing in TOMS blog where Blake M. explains why he began the eyewear one for one.

I would honestly like to know why it has not been mentioned anywhere to date except from MSU DGs.

it happened 24 hrs ago. give it some time. they're in the middle of rush down there, getting PR out of the deal with TOMS is not their top priority right now. why are you so concerned about it anywy?

National is not involved in Recruitment nor is TOMS. Seems as though if there really was a "partnership" between TOMS and DG national that it would news.

Recruitment has gotten out of hand when degrading posts are made on sites like this. PNM please make your decisions based on the people you meet not the malicious comments on here. I truly hope you never even look at this site.
