sorority comments

I'm a pi phi and sorry but we don't want to be added to this website. I mean why would anyone want to make themselves apart of something just so others can tear them down or so some members who are catty can get on here and self rank and make us look ridiculous? We're still new and therefore need to be focused on making our chapter grow, and to be the best it can be, not on here worrying about some fake ranking system. We are fine with not being on this website because to us, it doesn't make our sorority any better or any worse. All the sororities at state are awesome despite what this website may portray!

This is laughable. Notice they say at the beginning "some or all of what you see may not be true..." they said it. It's not true.

You can't go wrong with any groups at MSU! They all have top notch members.

on everyone making all the negative comments! No doubt that recruitment begins next week! Why don't we try building up others instead of tearing each other down. I have a STRONG feeling that all of the negative comments are the complete opposite of what your particular chapter's ritual stands for! All groups have a lot to offer and have great and not-so-great members. The hate is senseless ladies!

If there are repetitive bad comments on a board, chances are that is a good house.

I think for the most part you are right. I think most people associated with MSU know which houses are the best, regardless of what is said about them on here.

I've read that some sororites supposedly try to get rushees to think that God has given them messages about where I'm supposed to pledge. Is that for real? That's scary!

a feeling that you have either read comments (with low ranks) on a group page. Every group uses a hard sell on Pref night. Many houses will use scripture during their Pref night presentation, after all, most Greek organizations have scripture as part if their ritual. Don't let those posts scare you ... that is exactly what the person is trying to do ... scare you away from a particular group. Why else would she post such comments? Unfortunately some groups play dirty during recruitment and try all types of tactics to scare girls away from rival groups. It is sad on my opinion.

If some group tries to pull out scripture on me during pref night, they'll have another thing coming. I love the Lord and am a believer, but that just has no place in a sorority rush. I mean, I'm very involved in my church and have done more than a few mission trips, etc. So, that kind of stuff was on my information sheet I put into the registration system. But, if a group tries to try to play me like that thinking that because I'm a believer I'll go for it?? Absolutely not!! I won't have it.

Any group who does that to me will not be seeing me on bid day and should seriously question their tactics.
