Everyone says that Greek life is basically non-existent outside of the SEC and Texas. The only groups at MSU with chapters at every SEC school are Tri Delt, Chi O, and KD. In my opinion this says a lot about the over all National strength of these groups. A sorority is for more than just 4 years, it's for life. This makes National strength important. Although DG is very strong at MSU; their Vandy chapter just closed, no chapter at South Carolina and Arkansas; and recolonizing at Bama. A fact that girls coming through recruitment might want to remember.

Well if you're gonna start up about chapters of sororities at other schools (which is really totallly irrelevant...) then let's give all the deets.

Several Chi O chapters at those SEC schools you referred to are not "all that" and the students at those schools know it. Plus, what's with the chapter at USM - first a girl is dragged out of the house & arrested & spent the night in jail and now they're the joke on campus because of that stupid Bernie video on youtube. Tri Delt has been on probation at more than 1 school for some pretty heinous stuff, and another KD chapter in the state of MS has MULTIPLE girls who are preggo RIGHT NOW!! So, if you're gonna suggest that rushees take into account the other chapters of certain sororities, then fine. Let's give them ALLLLLLLLL the details!!

Last time I checked, USM is not an SEC school ... She said SEC schools. Chi O is very strong at all SEC, being one if the first few sororities on most SEC campuses. The same is true for Kappa Delta. Neither KD nor Chi O has EVER closed a chapter at an SEC school, unlike DG who had to close Vandy this year and is recolonizing at Bama after being closed there for over 20 years or so. Her post was about SEC schools. You forgot to mention the DG video fiasco at the University of Florida during your discussion. After all you were covering ALLLLLL details.

Everyone just needs to drop this crap. Pick a sorority based on your school. It's ridiculous to discourage someone from pledging a sorority because of a reputation at another school. EVERY csorority has chapters that are awesome and some that really suck. The first post was a blatant attempt to discredit DG, and the reply a sad attempt to drag the other mentioned sororities into discussion. Pick on this school, where you fit in. Anyone bashing other chapters is a red flag.

Chi O doesn't have enough good things to say about themselves, so they speak ill of other groups instead. Real classy, ladies.

It was only a matter of time before DDD ranked themselves up and gave other houses enough low ranks to reach #1...ON A WEBSITE. Every girl in MS knows the only houses truly sought after in rush at State are XO, DG, and KD. DDD is considered overly average. Goes to show you can't believe any "opinions."

I think its crazier that you assume I'm in DG, which I'm not. Although I did pref there and my house. Tough choice but no regrets! The website took out all of the self ranks and all 1's, which left DG, XO and KD at the top, clearly everyone's honest ranks of the top 3, which really are in no order because it is personal choice! But DDD has constantly ranked all 3 of these houses low and themselves high! Nothing wrong with the top 3 trying to bring each other up!

Greekrank periodically removes all 5 and all 1 rankings. They will again at some point.

I never said you were a DG. My comment was directed to DG and Tri Delt in general, or anyone who Continually posts horrible comments about other groups, not you specifically.
