People have told me that I should put my dads job on my resume. What he does is known to be a low pay job, but he makes a ton of money so I can afford a sorority. If the resume says he does ________, will it effect me, even if we have enough money to live more than comfortably?

Listing your parents is not a requirement on your resume but it might be required for Panhellenic registration, I can't remember. My sorority's alum recommendation form asks if your family can afford to pay the bills. It's a simply yes/no question. This is all we look at as a chapter.
