rushing a sorority as a sophomore
by: LucyI am currently a freshman here at State, and I'm planning on rushing a sorority next year, as a Sophomore. Will this make it harder for me to get a bid? How will the rush experience differ for me? I'm really nervous that my age will be a negative factor.

A lot of girls do this actually! Age isn't a huge factor.
To make your chances better, I would suggest making friends with girls currently in sororities. Get to know them and their friends.
Also, go to Greek Preview Day in the spring during Super Bulldog Weekend. Lastly, get letters of recommendation for each sorority before recruitment.
