Every thing is about to change today

Since today is bid day, your dynamic in college is going to greatly change today. Here are some tips that I learned in my time in college.

Freshman/new members- A lot of things are going to be thrown at you this semester. At the end of the day, your priorities need to be your academics. Try to find a good balance between school and sorority in the next few weeks. You will probably have a lot to learn about your sororities history and it will seem like there are so many requirements to become initiated. Don’t be stressed because your new member chair will do everything they can to make sure you get initiated. Also, you will probably stress about who is your big. And while it is fun to get the girl that you really liked during rush, it doesn’t matter who you really get because you can be friends with whoever you want. Also, go to the house as much as you can!

Sophomores- this is still a really fun year for members because you get to mentor the new class. But you also need to realize that the attention you got last year will be going to new girls. There won’t be as many events for you as the new members so you have to initiate hangouts/events

Juniors- be prepared to be a little disappointed. You might start to feel a little irrelevant around this time. My advice would to be to try to involve yourself in a many events as possible and learn to keep loving your chapter.

Seniors- This year is going to be tough emotionally. Just cherish every moment you can get with each other and don’t take it for granted. Stay on top of school though so the tassel is worth the hassle
