COB for upcoming year

Formal recruitment isn't over yet. COB doesn't start until bid day is over.
Only houses under total can do COB. Typically those include alpha chi, zeta, and pi phi.

The fall COB girls won't get to run home on bid day (unlike snap bid girls) but they can be initiated in the fall.

You say you "had to drop" - if that means you did not like the houses you were invited back to and decided to remove yourself from the process, you probably will not achieve better results via COB.

If you kept an open mind but found yourself simply overwhelmed by the whole process, you may be able to reconnect with some chapters as you meet women in class, other activities, etc.

It is widely known that the most coveted houses rarely if ever COB.

Chapters with room to grow will often use COB to extend membership to women who for whatever reason did not take part in recruitment but could still be a good fit for Greek Life. But again, if you made good impressions with those houses but felt formal recruitment was not the right process for you, COB could be a possibility if you know individual women in these houses.

Greek Life/Panhellenic would probably be the best resource for information - certainly better than GreekRank.

COB is generally not a second chance at recruitment. It may work out for you somehow and it can’t hurt to look into it, but you should think about it with low expectations.
