Snap bid question

I have an older friend that just graduated. She told me in 2020 (virtual rush year) that she was offered a snap bid by KD. This was on bid day after she’d received a bid to zeta. I thought if you signed your pref card on pref night, no one could give you a bid after it for a whole year. I think She is fibbing. Can anyone confirm this?

I sounds like she wanted whomever was listening to think she did better at rush than she really did. I don’t think snap bids work like that.

She is lying. Snap bids are given to girls who did not get a bid, so if she received a bid to Zeta and was at their bid day celebration , as the poster above stated, she signed her MRABA ( bid card) and would not be eligible to receive another bid. If she depledged before she was initiated, she could rerush the next fall.
