There is a difference between COB and snap bids. ZTA did not give out any snaps, which are extra bids given out on bid day to meet quota because something went wrong during recruitment. These go to women who originally withdrew from recruitment. COB is extending bids through the semester to meet total, which ZTA and Phi Mu and a few other houses are required to meet by their nationals.

Ok, so zta handed out less than 30 snap bids on b-day day but the had to give 45+ during COB because so many dropped

113 girls either dropped or got drop. It was a crazy amount this year and lots of moms were calling Jackie Mullen and some sorority alumni to yell about their daughter not being invited back to specific houses.
1) cob for some started today and some girls will definitely be picked up in the next few weeks
2) there were soooo many super sweet and gorgeous girls this year. Plus they were smart and really involved. This made standing out from the crowd more difficult but also gave all the houses a fighting chance to bring home a super strong class this year.
Love each and every PC in all the houses! Super impressed. Pan love

How does COB work when you don’t know a lot of current members in sororities?

What is your expectation?
If you dropped because you didn't like your choices you aren't going to have any different choices with COB. Right now the focus is on getting the smaller chapters' memberships up. The strong recruiting chapters are not going to offer COB's this semester. The others may have a few to offer but that depends on what new Chapter Total is set at. AXO is still in the establishment phase so they will be looking to build numbers and COB, but they won't take just anyone. If you want your best new member experience then a fall bid is the way to go.

Yeah that was a bad year for KD with it all online they didn’t navigate it very well. It was super hard on the pnms that year with it all being virtual.
