So does anyone wonder when Pan Exec will start acting like a governing body instead of a whipping dog for the top 3 sororities? Or a gate keeper to keeper the other 3 down - it is a known fact that you better kiss butt to get sorority awards. They have set up the girls sororities to also have a “pecking” order so to speak.
In addition, they pick gamma chis based on friendships rather than qualifications - if someone chose not to help with their own sororities recruitment for 2 years, then why would they be a qualified to be a gamma chi?
They do not make the top 3 follow the rules; in fact, they help them break them. So Potential PNMs, know that recruitment is not about your choice, it’s about the sororities. Be better Pan Exec!

I’m honestly not quite sure I’ve ever seen a pledge class that wasn’t this exact ration of in state and out of state. Just name one

Panhellenic cannot dictate, or "encourage" how sororities choose their members. That is an iron-clad NPC rule. Each organization has the right to choose their membership the way they want to. Sorority membership is not a right, these are private, optional, social clubs that no one is owed membership to.

XO is literally 90% MS girls, DG 80% MS girls, KD 70% MS girls. And XO and DG have a rule that their in house alumna have to approve every single bid given. Plus must personally know an in house active member. This breads legacy and hometown friends which is why they are so MS heavy.
Honestly, MS, Memphis area, and border town AL girls are the only ones who really care about these three. Most others who join them feel like outsiders. They know this too and don't want girls to drop, so they keep recruiting from their friend groups back home.

Yes, they come from all sororities. However, the l paid leaders discourage change. Then, you have a weak president who does not want to rock the boat. We literally fundraiser for the frats and then they are not expected to reciprocate except for limelight (chi o). Everyone knows that there is bid promising and other things going on but there it not any real punishment. Here’s a thought…let’s encourage all sororities bid lists to mirror States population. so if we are 70% in state and 30% out of state; then one would think the bid list could be that.
