Sigma Chi retention rate

by: Ruby

My brother pledged in fall of 2019 with Sigma Chi. I am wondering how many from that pledge class are graduating this May. I think they gave about 70 bids. So many dropped during pledgeship and many become inactive soon after. I really want to know. Thanks if yall can help me.

I think that was a rough pc tbh probably their worst retention rate somewhere in the low 40s maybe in the 30s now left. But pc 20 and 21 have good retention from what I can tell

What made them rough? I remember there being some Hispanic guys in that class that was covered in tattoos. If that’s what sigma chi wants, that makes me wonder what the rush chair was thinking.

I think they meant rough like they had a tough time keeping guys because of their social probation that they knew they were gonna get, that basically ruined an entire semester for them. Not worth paying that much to get nothing out of it.

Sigma chi literally gets a slap on the hand for their misdemeanors. The rest of the frats have lost so many privileges and had social probation for smaller things. Looming probation for a stand up rush chair should not matter. Sigma chi gave out bids to less than spectacular guys in 19 and now their retention rate sucks. I Remember an early bid, who was kicked out of Madison central but attended prep (go figure) down talked several MC guys. The only MC guys given bids were three legacies. The rest went elsewhere. Why listen to a loser who was also cut later for being nasty? It makes me wonder about sigma chi’s rush chairs!
