Phone call from gamma chi

This is 100% not true! Jackie Mullen will know around 8am and gamma chi girls will be calling pnms who aren't receiving a bid by 10am.
Any chapter under quota will be handing out snap bids all morning long until 1pm. Only a handful of exec and the pnm know if a girl was added as a snap bid because they want her to be able to enjoy bid day just like the rest of the girls. No shame in it!!! Finding your home is the most important thing.
COB starts tomorrow for houses under total.

I was told it would be this morning but they didn’t tell me what time. my gamma chi said the sororities don’t even finish bids until this morning

I am assuming you only listed one house on your form and will either get it or be dropped from rush since you suicided?

If you got back 2 houses for pref but only attended 1 you are not guaranteed a bid.
Even if you know you wouldn't accept a bid from a house you still need to have the respect not to ghost them. You can definitely SIP but have the decency to inform them kindly face to face at preference that your heart belongs to another house and that you wish them the best of luck.
Girls from every house are friends with each other and a quick text to her friends in other houses is a good way to get your name at the bottom of the list at the one you are hoping to run home to.

I’m calling BS here - all week girls are getting dropped like bags of dirt for no clear reason, and told to trust the process, that it’s just a numbers game, a very complicated situation that cannot possibly be explained, that sisters can’t discuss membership decisions, but don’t take it personally at all - yet the sororities deserve “decency”? Some kind, heartfelt explanation of why THEY are being rejected????
Nope - if I didn't attend a pref party, the houses need to trust the process, it’s a numbers game, really… membership decisions are never discussed - but hey, ladies, don’t take it personally!

The houses who invited a girl to preference round deserves the decency!!!! They didn't drop her like "a bag of dirt" they are telling her that they love and want her.
I fully support girls doing SIP but I in no way support girls being rude to a house that invited them back to preference round. You can go to their house and very nicely tell them that they found a home elsewhere and they don't want to take a spot away in their house from a girl who loves them and wants to run home to them.

Y'all have no idea what you're talking about. Any pnm who doesn't show up to an invited party is released from recruitment.

I did not ghost anyone!! I did a suicide bid. I went to 2 pref parties. Told one of them I loved them and told the other that I appreciated everything but they were not for me. I knew I wouldn’t accept a bid from one of them. So I didn’t list them on my contract. So I was either getting a bid or getting a call from my gamma chi. This is why I was asking what time they were supposed to call. I’m not rude and I did have the “decency” to attend both pref parties. I’m aware of the rules and had I “ghosted” one of them, I would be released from recruitment.

Did you get a bid to the house you $uicided? If not did you get a snap or anything?

The only girls getting calls after pref are the ones who SIP'd and didn't get that house.
