Girls were lined up at the union in droves to either drop or SIP (suicide) so expect a huge drop number.
I'm not so secretly hoping these girls get pick up as snap bids or shortly after as COB.
It's ashame variable quota was used. XO alum confirmed yesterday about variable quota and said pan and chapter alumns have been dealing with upset moms and confused pnms since go greek cuts were announced. Cuts were deep

The math ain’t mathin… If they really dropped to close to 500, then everyone is going to have super small PCs… How is it helpful for AXO or Pi Phi? If we all average a hit on numbers how is that fair to anyone?

Life is all about hard choices and difficult circumstances. You cannot simply decide to drop because you got cut from a certain sorority due to variable quota. Life is not rainbow and ponies, and sometimes things do not always work out like we had hoped. Perseverance and grit are crucial to success.

I hope that PAN and Jackie Mullins tell these so-called quitters that they simply cannot pledge; frankly, it cheapens the process.

They cannot tell anyone who dropped out of recruitment that they can't get a bid. That is against NPC rules. Dropping out is a choice. These girls will learn on their own what their choice's repercussions are and what's really what on campus. Life is also full of second chances.

And with smaller classes, I would think most houses would hit quota so snap bids won’t even be offered..

If numbers are small most will hit quota but not total.
Snap bids are used for houses not hitting quota and COB is for houses not a total. They are 2 very different things.
I think if it really is around 500 girls then several houses won't be at total so starting tomorrow they could use COB as a way to bring in girls they wanted but had to cut.

Variable quota was a disaster last time and it will be again. Look for KD, XO and DG to have pledge classes of 50 or less

By: Well then
by: ouch

I know for fact that the 4th largest house was given a quota of 80 so wouldn't be surprised if the largest 3 are 50-60 each
