Why can’t OL Leaders say what sorority they are in?

I don’t think it is as big of a deal as they think it is and I just want to know

It is just easier to take letters completely out of the mix in order to be completely fair and not give one house a rush advantage over another, or vice versa, when meeting interacting with freshmen before rush. If you know their letters then it all becomes a de facto rush event. It's a pretty common thing at a lot of schools to not identify letters of OL or tour guides or other leadership positions.

TBH normally a few groups have way more OLs than others, or some groups rarely have any. It’s just so girls don’t think there’s only a handful of sororities and/or involved and seen sororities.
