Sororities that continue

by: Truth

Look for ADII, DDD, and ZTA (alphabetically listed) to continue to capitalize on XO, DG, KD, PM (also alphabetized) failure to prioritize pnm strengths vs hometown friends. Tbh this is especially true for PM who would snap up amazing out of region girls from the Midwest and along the eastern coast. But they have sharply declined, to the benefit of others, in the past 2-3 years. Plus all more of those small town girls have been dropping due to $$$.
I love all and have friends in all houses but find the recent priority shift confusing. In the end it actually makes all the other houses stronger and MUCH closer in ranking than they were 5 years ago.
Pnms, wherever you end up... get involved, have an open mind, and always support your sisters and friends! Pan love always!!!

This is exactly a convo I had with friends this fall… the “upper” strategy ends up pushing away significantly stronger pnms & is a huge part of why the other houses are having a lot of success. You can noticeably see the difference in location heavy/heavy alumna involved chapters.

phi mu used to be highly sought after by the gorgeous pnms both in state and out of state but they don't even have that allure any more. I am in one of the "top 3" at state and definitely see the shift. honestly, phi mu is hanging on a thread of trying to separate themselves from tri delt and zeta. And adpi is kicking some serious butt and it's because the top 3, my house included, can't get with the program of keeping non-southern girls around.
I wouldn't be surprised if those four (pi mu, tri delt, zeta, and adpi) hold the mid tier for a long time well above the others.

The shifting into three tiers instead of a solid upper/lower may be exactly what’s happening with Phi Mu. They’re dropping into a middle area while the rest aren’t struggling as hard as Pi Phi and can’t really be considered newer anymore so they’re settling there Coupd be because of our numbers now… natural progression… I think ADPi has done better but they still have some things to work on… But we all have work to do, honestly

Totally agree. And KD is now the one upper tier group who has embraced OOR pnms vs PM. This has helped KD and hurt PM during the last two recruitments.
I was hoping PBP could rebound but their big drop out numbers seem to indicate that this won't be their year again. It's too bad because they are a great group of girls.

No one said Phi Mu isn't doing fine. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a mid tier house. As long as the in house girls are happy and exec likes the direction it's going, then that is great. Having a house that attracts girls from the smaller town around ms and some surrounding states is fantastic. I totally see the allure for those girls but it becomes even less attractive to Nashville and Atlanta girls. Not to mention further out of state pnms.

Phi Mu did away with recs completely this year too, making it literally impossible for unknown girls to get on their radar.
So ya, expect even more hs friends and less quality pnms to be targeted this fall.

And that’s exactly the attitude that’s responsible for Phi Mu falling… keep it up
