How and what to bring

If pnms are only allowed to bring things in the one gallon zip lock bag, what are the essential must haves?

I was planning on bringing an umbrella and hand held fan but don't think those will fit.

Some of the videos I have watched also mention a raincoat or towel to sit on between houses. Is that a thing at state? I'm totally confused on if I should be lugging all this stuff around in my hands since we aren't allowed to bring a tote bag. Like how do we carry our shoes, water bottle, notebook, umbrella, fan, towel, and the gallon bag that holds make up, oil blotters, deodorant, bandaids, etc.

They give you a gallon bag but last year we all ended up using our own bags. I found that battery powered fan, makeup (to touch up in between parties), perfume, and water is really all you need. Some people use note books but it’s easier to just use your phone.

Perfume is the last thing a pnm needs to bring. You are far more likely to offend someone with your choice of scent. And when so many girls are crowded into a room together, can you imagine what the clashing of everyone's perfume can be like? Save the perfume for going out. Definitely bring the fan!

Thanks, I didn't realize they will let us bring our own bag. I was thinking we were only allowed the one gallon ziplock they give us.
