recommendation letter
by: msu22I have looked all over the msu greek life website and cannot find the answer. Do all of the sororities require a recommendation (or highly recommended) and how do we find out if they can be written by am alumni or current active member?

I am pretty sure that an active cannot recommend for PiPhi or Zeta, don't know DDD, but PM, ADP, AXO, XO, DG and KD do allow actives at a different chapter to recommend if they are in good standing. If there is any question, a member can log in to their national site's rec form page and check. Some nationals now have a form online on their websites where you can express interest in the sorority and specify the school, so def try that if you can't get a personal rec. Most nationals no longer require a rec to get a bid, but that doesn't mean it won't help you, especially when so many others get them. It shows you are interested and serious.
