do pnms need fancy resumes
by: questionok this might be a stupid question. but on your resume for recruitment do people buy those cute templates off the internet with your pic and everything layed out nice? or does it not matter

You don't need anything fancy. An organized layout with important information is all that is needed. Just make sure you proof read because you'd be surprised how many come through with misspelled words. Even got one that was scanned to pdf with a long dark hair across it.

What @Nah said. It doesn't need to be cute, just very clear and easy to see what you're all about and proofed. My personal tip? Some people list what they did in high school year by year. I think it's much easier to get an idea of someone when they list them by category. Like if sports are your thing, you list the sport, the years you played, accomplishments/leadership positions, etc. Then list the next sport. Do the same with whatever types of things you do under organized groups; Debate Team, Theatre, Music, Student Government, Pageants, Volunteer/Charity Work, whatever. Put your academic accomplishments and honors all together too. It's so much easier to follow than listing every activity year by year. IMO
