Where is East Community College
by: Wanna beI started here in August and I am from southern Arkansas. I have met a couple of guys that tell everyone they go here but they go to East. So many questions. What is East? Why do the tell people they go to State? Can they be in a fraternity if the go to East?

I am guessing you are referring to East Mississippi branch in Maben. A lot of kids that don’t think they can handle a university go there first. I’ve noticed a lot of guys that go there do tell people they don’t know that they are students at State. There should be no shame in attending a community college but for some that want the frat life but not the stress of a university, I guess it’s embarrassing to admit where they go to school. I think it makes them
look and seem like losers.

Do you even go to State? Who would assume that “East” is referring to meridian??

The guy lives in Starkville. Found out it’s the East branch in maben.
