The almost came back in 2015!! My older sister rushed in 2015 and they had a preview day for rush back then and they were told KKG would be coming, but then I guess they bailed out.

News gets around quickly. The pan community knows how Pi Phi was treated and then came along ADPi and they were treated as horribly as Pi Phi was. They have thrived despite the negatively so I hope other sororities will consider looking at State now.

I thought phi phi was treated pretty well? They have great girls and good numbers. They are solid mid tier and as respected as Zeta and Tri delt which are houses that have been around much longer. Adpi on the other hand is a different story but they have been improving! The entire reason Adpi came on campus in 2013 is because Pi phi was received exceptionally well and KKG was looking to come here in 2015 because of the same reason. The prospect for starting a new house here was looking good but ADPI struggled more than expected so KKG decided to bail out last min because its a bad move to try and establish a new house while another house is still in the establishment phase as well. I think it was a good choice to hold because they were adding new sororities way too quickly. That would’ve been 3 new houses in a period of about 5 years.

Okay ZTA , we hear you. You are no where close to DDD. No one wanted to be a Pi Phi initially. The Greek community dogged them on Greek rank and on the campus all the time. They became better when ADPi came on board because Pi Phi wasn’t the newest anymore. Both Pi Phi and ADPi are thriving now so it is time for a new sorority to come on campus. Phi Phi and ADPi are such nice girls that they will welcome the new sorority instead of feeling threatened by them. The big houses will welcome them to because they don’t want 400 member houses like Ole Miss has.

BAH zta is not well respected. They are probably the least respected girls on this campus. Lol

Bro what lol Im not a zeta, but a new house coming in and being at least on par with established houses that have been here for years is really impressive. Usually the new house is at the dead bottom (such as adpi) for years but they weren’t...that’s literally all I was saying. Also why are you so concerned about the placement of zeta anyways? Are you a pi phi or tri delt? Those are the only houses I can see caring

I’d love to see Kappa come back. Half the houses treat a new sorority great because they’re not a threat to them and they know more sororities is better for the Greek System. The other half know their position could be threatened with new blood. They’d probably be super great at first because a new group automatically pushes them up one spot, but once they have members it’s “abc sorority is bottom tier and NOT my group!!” It’s how it goes at every school every time a new group colonizes.
