by: MSU rushHi everyone! Is MSU rush super competitive? I’m OOS without connections. Is there a good chance of not getting a bid?

Not competitive like most schools. You should get a bid. But the top 3 mostly give bids to in state girls and legacies.
MSU is interesting that their top sororities are based mostly on gpa. Not hotness like the ones in Alabama and Florida for example.
The pretty girl sororities are mid tier at MSU.
Just how it is. So there’s a good fit for everyone.

It should be GPA before looks. You’re taking women’s accomplishments in the classroom and minimizing it completely. It sounds very progressive to put grades first and looks secondary. For once, the south leads here. In this case, some sororities at state have grades and beauty.

Compared to what? Most college top sororities like alpha phi have the really pretty hot girls. The top 3 sororities at MSU would be bottom at Alabama and Florida.
It’s gpa before looks for the top 3 sororities at MSU. Not a common thing elsewhere.
