They are really only the “top 3” for the instate girls and legacies. Go in and view all the houses equally, because despite what this site says, the ranks are different for each girl and your “top house” should be where you were most comfortable and had the best conversations, not where greek rank says you should want to go!

Im an OOS girl and there are other sororities besides the “top” who take WAY more girls and are proud of their diversity of OOS women. Where you are born, should not influence where you run home too. Every woman is special and beautiful in their own rights. Please dont let it discourage you.

Are you kidding me rn? What makes you think that girls from Mississippi are better than girls from CA, TX, FL, or other states.
IT’S MISSISSIPPI!! Lol. You should be happy that girls from those states even want to go to MSU in the first place.
Be more accepting like other universities.

stop spreading false information. mississippi is a great state with great in state girls. are in state girls the only girls in a chapter? absolutely not. are bid lists already made? absolutely not. if they were, me an out of state girl who knew absolutely no one at msu, would not have been able to come to state and pledge a 'top 3 house'. ranks are stupid. yes i am in a 'top' house but i have SO many friends outside of it too. considering i value those girls in other chapters and think they are beautoful and smart and talented just like my sisters, what makes my house better than theirs? stop making greek life toxic. stop telling girls they won't belong. panhellenic is doing a great job - STOP BEING NEGATIVE! every girl will find the house that is best for THEM.

Don’t listen to this. Its more than likely a mom who’s daughter is in a “top house” and wants out of state girl’s to feel unwanted and bad about themselves.
