paying to remove posts

I recently posted a statement and opinion about a date I had with a frat member. Just some observations I made. Nothing was said that was mean or derogatory. It was just a reminder to grow up. Got some reason, it was removed. Who chooses what is posted and what is deleted? Is it true that you can pay to have posts removed? Because SAE sure pays a lot to do this. It occurs over and over by my observation.
