my thoughts on bid day themes

These are my own personal thoughts on the bid day themes. Obviously these have nothing to do with rankings and everyone is going to have a different opinion, so feel free to share your favs below!

Zeta: Ice Ice Zeta. I loved their theme and execution of it. Lots of silver metallic skirts which are adorable and everyone got pretty into the theme.

Delta Gamma: How can I resist ya/Disco. I liked this because it was unique and also loved the disco outfits. Love the sparkle skirts, bell bottoms, go-go boots and the retro white glasses. Loved their metallic looking letters.

Phi Mu: I got a really big team/Drake. They had a pretty basic theme and they are always pink but I liked how it was executed. I loved the cheer leading skirts, tennis skirts, knee high socks and face paint! They did a great job of combining sporty with cute. Also I LOVED their sparkly letters.

Tri Delt: Sucker for you/Candy. Candy theme has been done so many times but I liked that they added the Jonas Brothers. All of their outfits were cute, colorful and on theme!

Chi o: I personally loved the theme choice but I don't think the girls executed it well. I liked the red and checkered skirts but it seems like most girls just wore whatever and didn't care about the theme.

KD: Welcome to the jungle/animals. Boring. I saw a lot of girls just wearing jean skirts and random metallic skirts so a lot of them didn't really dress for the theme either. Throwing on ears and being a cat is probs the most unoriginal thing you can do. However, they had some really cool props and decorations so it wasn't terrible but not great. I really hope i never see another jungle theme again though.

Pi phi: Valentine/hearts. Probably would have been more fitting if Phi Mu had done this theme considering they all were just wearing pink. The girls all went all out on their theme though so I think it looked cute.

ADPI: Knock out/boxing. I don't mind the theme but the girls did not execute it well. All of them were just wearing their bid day shirts and jean shorts with maybe some boxing gloves. Ive seen this theme done before at other schools so I know it can look cute but ADPI just fell short here.
