Over 1,000 freshmen and transfer students attend New Maroon Camp. In 2017 about 900 students attended and last summer there were over 1,000 and they had to turn away people and start a wait list in June.
It's a lot of freshmen, but for sure not half... there were 3,565 first time freshmen in fall 2018.
